GITEX began as a regional IT show and grew, over four decades, into the single largest technology and startup gathering on the planet. Its 2026 edition — the 46th — arrives with two changes returning visitors must plan around: the dates have shifted from October to December, and the main show has moved to a bigger venue. This guide covers what's new, the trends worth watching, why startups and SMEs should go, and where you can meet the Fulminous team and see what we're building.
If you've been to GITEX before, two things have changed for 2026 — and both affect how you plan travel and meetings.
The dates have moved. GITEX has always run in October. This year it shifts to 7–11 December 2026, landing in the middle of Dubai's busiest and most pleasant tourist season — so book flights and hotels earlier than usual.
The venue has moved. After more than 40 years at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the main exhibition relocates to the Dubai Exhibition Centre inside Expo City Dubai — a much larger, purpose-built space on the former Expo 2020 grounds. It's also co-located with Expand North Star, one of the world's largest startup and investor events, so the founder-and-funding energy is stronger than ever.
An invite-led day built around senior policy, investment and business conversations for leaders and decision-makers.
The full four-day exhibition: technology launches, startup pitches, live demos and sessions across every major industry.
Fulminous Software will be at Expo City Dubai across the show. Whether you want to scope a custom build, talk through AI integration, or simply trade ideas, book a slot with us in advance and we'll keep time aside for you. We're also bringing two products we've been building — take a look at both below, then come see them live.
We have a limited number of free GITEX Global 2026 passes to share. Register now to secure yours and lock in a meeting with the Fulminous team while you're at it.
Claim Your Free Pass →BrandOFluence is India's most trusted influencer marketing platform — it connects verified Instagram and YouTube creators with brands, backed by escrow payments, AI matching, and deals closed in under 7 days. It's built to take the guesswork, risk and back-and-forth out of creator campaigns.
GuruKool AI is a personal AI tutor for students in Class 1–12 that explains every concept step-by-step — in a conversational Chat Mode or a visual Board Mode — across English, Hindi, and regional languages. It's designed to make one-to-one, patient tutoring available to every learner, in the language they think in.
GITEX has always been about showing the future before it goes mainstream. The 2026 floor spans AI and agents, quantum, cybersecurity, smart cities, cloud and edge, robotics and green tech.
AI is no longer a single demo booth — it's the connective tissue of the whole show. Expect the conversation to move from chatbots to autonomous AI agents that carry out multi-step work: researching, coding, booking and coordinating across tools. Generative AI keeps maturing for real business use in marketing, design, support and analytics, with a sharper focus on governance and responsible deployment.
Quantum has a dedicated place at GITEX 2026. For most businesses the practical angle is quantum-safe security — preparing encryption for a post-quantum world before it becomes urgent.
Dubai is a live case study for the smart city, and GITEX scales that vision globally — IoT for traffic, energy and waste, plus AI-powered mobility. On the infrastructure side, expect multi-cloud strategies, edge computing to cut latency, and robotics moving from the lab into logistics, healthcare and everyday operations. Sustainability runs throughout, from carbon-aware data centres to AI-optimised smart grids.
The technology on display reflects broader shifts reshaping how companies operate:
Enterprises grab the headlines, but GITEX — and its co-located Expand North Star — is arguably even more valuable for smaller teams.
